What Ridents is for

Ridents lists real, currently operating businesses so a person searching can find, contact, and visit them. Every listing should describe a specific business that a customer could actually call, message, or visit — not a placeholder, a template, or a page built only to rank for keywords.

Not allowed, under any circumstances

These are refused automatically wherever we can detect them, and reviewed by a person the rest of the time. Submitting any of the following is treated as a serious violation, not a mistake to fix and resubmit:

• Sexual services or explicit adult content — escort, companion, or "massage" services advertised with sexual intent, cam or live-sex services, and similar.
• Illegal services — hacking-for-hire, forged documents or credentials, drug sales, or anything else illegal where the business is meant to operate.
• Hate speech or harassment — content that attacks, threatens, or demeans a person or group.
• Financial fraud — guaranteed-return schemes, loan scams, fake crypto or forex "generators".
• Counterfeit goods — replicas or "first copy" products sold as genuine.

Not allowed, because it is not a real listing

• Fake or duplicate listings — a business that does not exist, does not operate where claimed, or is the same business submitted again under a different name or domain.
• Placeholder or filler content — "test", "n/a", repeated characters, or any field filled in just to get past a required-field check rather than to answer it.
• Engagement fraud — buying followers, likes, or reviews; posting or soliciting fake reviews for any listing, including your own.
• Academic or credential fraud — essay-writing services, fake degrees, or fake certificates.
• Spam wording and link stuffing — promotional filler ("guaranteed results", "act now"), links or contact details pasted into fields that are not meant to hold them, or text repeated across fields to game keyword matching.

What is fine

A short, plainly written description of a real business is not a violation, even if it does not use marketing language, contains grammatical mistakes, or is written in transliterated Hindi, Punjabi, or another language your customers use. An ordinary business with an edgy or suggestive name is not adult content — we judge the actual services offered, not a word in isolation.

How enforcement works

Every submission passes through an automated filter before it reaches a person:

1. The page itself warns you, as you type, if a field contains wording that is not allowed — so you can fix it before submitting at all.
2. On submit, the filter checks for blocked wording, spam patterns, fabricated content, and other signals. Borderline submissions get an automated second opinion on whether the content is genuine and within policy.
3. A submission the filter refuses is never published. If the refusal was caused by specific disallowed wording, we tell you what it was so you can remove it and resubmit. Where the reason is a fraud-detection signal rather than a content-policy one, we do not describe it in detail — publishing exactly how the filter works would only help someone defeat it next time.
4. Everything that passes the automated filter is still reviewed by a person before it is published. Nothing goes live automatically.

Repeated violations

One refused submission is a warning, not a penalty — fix the wording and resubmit. An account that has multiple submissions automatically refused for policy or spam reasons is suspended from submitting further listings, and the account itself is suspended and signed out, meaning it can no longer sign back in either. This is an automatic, reversible consequence of the pattern, not a permanent judgement — if you believe it happened in error, contact us (see below) and a person will review it.

Reporting a listing

If you find a published listing that breaks these guidelines, use the "Report a problem" control on that listing's page. Reports are also screened by the same filter — a report containing spam links or disallowed wording will not go through — so keep the details factual and specific.
